Contesting a Will
We understand if you have lost someone close this will be a difficult time for you. It is particularly difficult if you find that person’s Will does not say what you expect it to. It may be that you have been left out of a Will or left with inadequate financial provision, or you believe the person who made the Will did not understand it, or that the Will does not reflect the person’s wishes or pressure was put on them to leave their estate to a particular person. If you find yourself in this position, you may have grounds to challenge the Will.
Alternatively it may be that you are the Executor of a Will and find that someone is contesting a Will or making a claim against the estate. An Executor’s role in administrating an estate does not always proceed smoothly, there may be arguments between the Executors, the beneficiaries may allege the Executors are not doing their job properly or a claim may be made against the estate.
