Hart Reade are pleased to announce that Ben Grover has been appointed Assistant Solicitor in the firm’s Property Department in the Eastbourne office.  Ben qualified as a Solicitor in October 2007 and has recently relocated from Hertfordshire to East Sussex.  Ben deals mainly with commercial matters – property, business advice, business transfers and Landlord & Tenant work.  Away from the office Ben is interested in film, books, running and swimming.

The winners of the first Hart Reade art competition, judged recently by local artist, David Armitage, are students at Cavendish and Bishop Bell schools.  Eight students from two age categories (11-14 and 15-18) won cash prizes and Cavendish, the school attended by the two winning students, also won book tokens to the value of £200.

The winning students and their parents were invited to a prize-giving ceremony on 23 April together with representatives from the two winning schools. 

Congratulations are due to Rachel Cox, Legal Assistant in our Family and Matrimonial Department on qualifying as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in October.
