Family Law Executive Vacancy

Hart Reade LLP are seeking to recruit a full time executive to work in our busy Family Department.  The vacancy will be to work alongside a highly experienced Family Solicitor and Partner in our Eastbourne office.

The successful candidate must have recent family law finance experience.  We would welcome applications from qualified solicitors or legal executives, newly qualified solicitors or legal executives, or those currently training/working towards a qualification.

Responsibilities will include;

Candidates will be required to have good written and spoken English and the ability to communicate well with clients, colleagues and other external contacts.  We pride ourselves on the client care we provide; therefore, applicants should be experienced as above and confident and personable both on the telephone and face to face, and willing to go ‘the extra mile’.

You should have good IT skills and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel).  Experience of using a case management system would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.  As part of this role you will also be given access to, and required to use, online accounts (e.g. the online court system, anti-money laundering searches, legal library and precedent forms etc) as well as office equipment (scanning, copying and printing).

The successful candidate will be required to provide a range of support to a Partner, dealing with a varied, high net worth, caseload.  Attention to detail is essential.  You should be inquisitive, and comfortable asking questions to assist the progression of your learning and development.

Candidates must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated.  For those currently working towards a qualification, we will provide support and assistance with funding of courses and examinations (subject to contractual terms and conditions) as well as study leave. Due to the nature of this role, this will be an office based position.
