Hart Reade Raises £2,000 for Children’s Charity
Hart Reade has raised a total of £2,163 for children’s charity Chestnut Tree House, the Sussex-based charity that provides care and support for children and young people with life-shortening conditions.
Staff at our offices in Eastbourne, Meads, Hailsham and Polegate used their ingenuity, baking skills and love of sport to fund raise with more than £1,000 raised over the last year at a series of events including a sponsored bike ride, homemade cake sales, a football sweepstake and coffee mornings for the local community.
A further £1,000 was raised by a team of women from Hart Reade at the “Night to Remember, Chestnut Tree House Midnight Walk”.
Sarah Kelly, Corporate Fundraiser at Chestnut Tree commented:
“We would like to thank the whole team at Hart Reade, their commitment to fundraising is inspiring and the money they have raised is key to helping us reach more children in East Sussex. We asked people to put their Hands Up! if they thought they could help us care for children with life-shortening conditions in the county and Hart Reade have fully embraced this challenge.”
Every year, the staff at Hart Reade Solicitors choose a charity to support with fundraising activities. We will be announcing our 2017 charity soon.
