Quality Standard
We are pleased to have gained and retained accreditation at the Law Society’s Lexcel quality standard, since 2004. We feel this standard demonstrates our commitment to client care and to staff development, both of which are of vital importance to the success of our firm.
Lexcel is the Law Society’s practice management quality mark, and is only awarded to solicitors who meet the highest management and client care standards. Lexcel accredited practices undergo rigorous independent assessment every year, to ensure they meet the required standards of excellence in areas such as client care, case management and risk management.
In addition, our Property Department is an accredited member of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS). This means we have been recognised by the Law Society as having reached high standards of service, and professionalism. We adhere to the Conveyancing Protocol Scheme and utilise the Law Society’s standard documentation.
As a CQS member we will:
- Explain clearly the steps on the sale or purchase process;
- Tell you what you can expect from us;
- Tell you what the costs will be;
- Keep you informed of progress;
- Treat your fairly;
- Be polite and professional;
- Respond promptly to your enquiries;
- Tell you about any problems as soon as we are aware of them, and
- Ask for your feedback on our service.
