The Insolvency Service is seeking to streamline the process of applying for bankruptcy. The Insolvency Service has begun a consultation looking at removing the need to go to court at the application stage if there is no dispute between the parties.
It is hoped that this move will save businesses money as creditors would no longer need the assistance of a solicitor when there is no dispute in the outcome.
