Landlord and Tenant
A new edition of the RICS Code of Practice for Service Charges in Commercial Property will be effective from 1 October 2011. The Code is aimed at reducing conflict between Landlord and Tenant. Under the Code all new Leases should provide for alternative dispute resolution (‘ADR’) and in old Leases which do not provide for ADR the parties should use it.
