Barristers Response to Family Justice Review

The Bar Council and Family Law Bar Association (FLBA) have urged the government to take a considered and practical approach to reforming family law. As the government published its response to the Family Justice Review the FLBA has advised against rushing into legislation.
Although the FLBA welcomed the strengthening of the courts enforcement rules it believes questions remain in regards to shared parenting, mediation and limiting delays in public law cases.
