Flexible Working For All

Employment

Under current legislation an employee can request flexible working for the purposes of caring for a child or adult.  This right will be extended to all employees who meet certain other conditions under Part 8 of the Children and Families Bill.  As a result of this ACAS has begun a consultation to produce a statutory Code of Practice together with non-statutory guidance.  The consultation closed on 20 May 2013.
