Following a year of fundraising, we were today pleased to present cheques to our chosen charities for 2023 – the Eastbourne and Hailsham Foodbanks totalling £2,107.25.
Both Foodbanks continue to see an increase in demand due to the continuing cost of living crisis and were grateful for the monies raised together with the food donations made during the year.
The Charity Committee said ‘it is so rewarding to see the funds raised go to such worth charities and to know that the funds will be used for those most in need’.
