Legal Secretary Vacancy
Hart Reade LLP are seeking to recruit a full time legal secretary to work for a Partner(s) in our Eastbourne Family Department.
Applicants should have excellent secretarial skills including fast accurate audio typing and good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel). Experience of using a case management system would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
The role requires someone who is highly organised, with a keen attention to detail and who thrives working within a team.
Candidates will be required to have good written and spoken English and the ability to communicate well with clients, colleagues and other external contractors. We pride ourselves on the client care we provide; therefore, applicants should be confident and personable both on the telephone and face to face, and willing to go ‘the extra mile’.
The successful candidate will be adaptable, motivated and prepared to work hard in a busy working environment. Previous experience of working in family law is preferred.
Marketing Executive Vacancy
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketing executive to join Hart Reade LLP. This is a part time role working 2 days per week
Reporting to the Marketing Partner this position will focus on the creative side of our marketing efforts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing print and online ready advertisements and leaflets
- Writing and proofing social media content
- Designing, preparing and managing email newsletter campaigns using MailChimp
- Liaising with our web design/SEO company. Some knowledge of WordPress would be an advantage.
- General organisation of digital and print marketing
- General marketing administration as required
The successful candidate will be proficient in design and be able to produce high quality content. We are looking for someone with the confidence to bring new and fresh ideas to our design strategy. You must therefore be highly organised, personable, and an excellent communicator with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
You will also need to have an eye for detail and the ability to write and communicate clearly to engage with our audience.

The role is based in our Eastbourne office, but may require travel to our branch offices in Meads, Polegate and Hailsham on occasion. Home/hybrid working may be considered for the right candidate.
