We offer a free initial appointment, where the position on costs will be discussed carefully. We tailor our service and the payment of fees to your individual circumstances.

We will ensure that you will be informed, every step of the way, as to the likely costs consequences of all important decisions as well as confirming, at the outset, the estimated overall costs of your case. Therefore, you will be fully appraised of the likely fees at the beginning.

We are happy to agree our level of involvement with clients at the start so that our service can be tailored to your personal budget and needs.

We offer a number of different payment arrangements to clients because we understand discharging legal fees can be very stressful during a separation. In addition, a number of assets may not become available until the conclusion of the case, from which you may wish to pay your fees.

All of our Solicitors are fully qualified with many years of specialist practice in Family Law and therefore we have the experience to offer sound, practical advice at a cost to suit you. We only allow qualified specialist Lawyers to advise and act on your behalf in our Family Department to ensure expert trustworthy advice and complete professionalism. We do not allow unqualified or inexperienced practitioners to advise clients. It is always worthwhile checking your lawyer’s credentials before instructing them, particularly in Family Law.

We offer where appropriate flexible arrangements in respect of costs to our clients, and agree to numerous payment options to ensure your objectives are met and so that you can be advised and represented at a difficult and uncertain time.

Our Family Department offers a free 30 minute appointment to all clients.

At that appointment we will discuss and review your circumstances and give you preliminary legal advice.

We will also review with you, in general terms, your options in respect of the divorce, finances or children matters and also provide a cost estimate.

The 30 minute appointment will be free of charge and there will be no obligation for you to use our services.
