Staff at Hart Reade Solicitors nominated Children with Cancer Fund as their 2013 charity. A variety of events held throughout the year included a puddings ‘n’ pie day, raffle, a Halloween treat sale, sale of old computer equipment and donations instead of sending Christmas cards. The fund raising was completed with a stall at Polegate’s Dickensian event in December. Staff from Hart Reade’s three branches at Eastbourne, Polegate and Hailsham raised a total of £525.52 and Alexandra Funnell, Partner with Hart Reade, was delighted to present a cheque for this amount to Chris Downton from Children with Cancer Fund.
