Reports have suggested that law firms in London have seen an increase in international divorce cases since the case of Radmacher in 2010.
The ruling in the case of Radmacher brought prenuptial agreements in England and Wales in line with the law in the EU and the USA. England has also developed a reputation for awarding generous financial settlements in divorce cases. As London is home to many people born overseas it has become an attractive place for rich international divorces to be decided.
