There is early Christmas cheer for buyers due to changes to the Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) regime. The changes which came into effect from midnight 4th December should enable a considerable number of buyers to save SDLT. This could be as much as £4000.00 on a £300,000.00 purchase.
