Bill to Improve Rights of Children for Contact With Both Parents

The first reading of the Bill to improve the rights of children to have contact with both parents has taken place. The Bill requires courts, local authorities and other bodies to operate under the presumption that the rights of children include being able to grow up knowing both parents, including having access and contact with them both.
