On 1 April 2011, the Ministry of Justice reported than an independent panel set up to review the family justice system has concluded significant reform is needed. A package of proposals has been recommended and a public consultation is now underway.
The panel will make its final recommendations to governments in England and Wales in the Autumn of 2011.
