On VE Day, we took a moment to reflect, remember and bring some joy to our offices through the power of home baking; all in support of our Charity of the Year, Memory Lane Eastbourne.
Helen Hatcher, Coral Burr and Jo Carr kindly donned their aprons and baked an array of delicious cakes and sweet treats to mark the occasion. Staff from across our offices came together to enjoy the goodies and donate towards a wonderful local cause.
Memory Lane Eastbourne offers free social activities for people living with dementia and their carers. From singalongs and cinema trips to gardening and crafts, their sessions are designed to reduce isolation and bring moments of happiness and connection.
We’re proud to support this brilliant charity throughout the coming year and our VE Day bake sale was the perfect way to begin our fundraising efforts with warmth and community spirit.
