The government has provided a date of 30 June 2014 for the implementation of the new rules on the right to request Flexible Working – for more information click here.
Financial Penalties
As of 6 April 2014 Employers are also subject to financial penalties where an employee brings a claim against and employer and the Employment Tribunal considers the employer has breached the employee’s rights and the breach contains one or more aggravating features. For more information click here.
