Conveyancing Quality at Hart Reade
The Hart Reade Property Department prides itself on providing expert legal advice and exceptional customer service. In a market that is competitive and still feeling the effects of the current state of the economy, we have proved how committed we are to our clients by becoming accredited members of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme and the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners.
Conveyancing Quality Scheme
The Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) is a recognised quality mark and is trusted by some of the UK’s biggest lenders.
To become members we had to undergo rigorous examination and auditing to show that we have a high level of knowledge, skills, experience and practice.
As members we can assure you that we will
- Explain the steps of buying or selling a home;
- Tell you what service you can expect from us;
- Be honest with you about the costs involved;
- Keep you informed throughout the process;
The accreditation is also based upon the integrity of our conveyancing staff, the firm’s adherence to good practice management standards and adherence to prudent and efficient conveyancing procedures. The scheme also creates a trusted community which will deter fraud.
In 2011-12 the CQS was officially recognised by the Legal Ombudsman, Association of British Insurers (ABI), Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) and the Building Societies Association (BSA).
The CQS has also been recognised by lenders including HSBC, Santander and Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank. Accredited firms are recognised as providing a service that can be trusted and are therefore accepted onto their lender panels.
As well as the new accreditations above we continue to be one of the few local solicitor members of the Lawyers for your Business and recommended experts on The Leasehold Advisory Service.
We are proud of our accreditations as we feel they reflect our commitment to our clients. We have a team of dedicated property professionals at our offices in Eastbourne, Hailsham and Polegate ready to work in your best interests. If you need legal advice on any property issues we are here for you. Please contact a member of our team who will be happy to help.
