Unproductive Employees to Lose Right to Unfair Dismissal?

A leaked government report has suggested that unproductive or lazy workers should lose their right to claim unfair dismissal. It is suggested that by making it easier for employers to dismiss workers companies will become more productive and have confidence to hire more staff. However removing further staff protection is likely to be very unpopular with workers and unions alike.
