H M Court and Tribunal Service have announced that new employment tribunal decisions will soon be available on a new online database. This new database will publish decisions from the Employment Tribunal in England, Wales and Scotland and is expected to be available from early 2017.
At the moment decisions are only available by attending the tribunal’s office or by ordering a decision by post and paying a fee. For the time being past decisions will still need to be applied for in this way as the database will only contain new decisions.
Employment tribunal decisions are not binding but the online database will be a useful guide as to the approach being taken by the tribunal in cases.
