Boundaries
“T” marks are commonly used on plans to show who is responsible for a particular boundary. However, in Lanfear v Chandler (2013) the Court of Appeal held that a “T” mark is not determinative of ownership. Other factors such as terms in the conveyance and evidence of the position on the ground are also relevant in determining ownership.
