Background

Jacqueline has been working in our Civil Litigation Department since joining Hart Reade as a trainee in 1992. Jacqueline initially qualified as a Legal Executive and went on to qualify as a solicitor in 2000, obtaining a distinction in her post graduate diploma in legal practice. Jacqueline became a partner in 2004.

Jacqueline will always be realistic about the merits of your case and will provide practical advice on how to resolve your dispute or to prevent one arising. Often a strategic view at the outset of a matter can improve your prospects of reaching a successful outcome and reduce costs.

Jacqueline can quickly understand the issues and give expert pragmatic advice. She has a good commercial awareness and will always look at the cost effectiveness of the options available to you.

Most of her clients would prefer to avoid going to Court and (where appropriate) she encourages the use of all forms of alternative dispute resolution e.g. negotiating settlements, mediation etc.

Jacqueline is skilled in negotiating settlements but if Court proceedings are unavoidable, she has the experience, energy, drive and tenacity to pursue matters to trial.

Jacqueline is friendly, approachable and always professional. She is committed, hard working. and has an eye for detail.  She takes a real interest in her clients and will support you throughout the dispute.
